In general, homes in northern Arizona are taking longer to sell... and fewer homes are selling than in previous years. However, prices have remained relatively stable with only a slight decrease in 2007.

Average Sales Price for Single Family Homes Sold in Northern Arizona

The average sales price for a single family home increased from about $180,000 in 1999 to $420,000 in 2006. The average sales price in 2007 dropped to $411,000. Sellers can still expect to get more for their homes than they could in previous years.

Average Days on the Market for Single Family Homes in Northern Arizona

Homes took longer to sell in 2007 than they did in 2006 — by about 42 days.

Number of Single Family Homes Sold by Year in Northern Arizona

Although fewer single family homes sold in 2007, the number exceeds those we saw in years prior to 2002.
