In general, homes in northern Arizona are taking longer to sell... and fewer homes are selling than in previous years. Prices stabilized in 2007 and we saw a slight downward trend. The good news for buyers is that the days of multiple, competing offers are gone.

Average Sales Price for Single Family Homes Sold in Northern Arizona s

The average sales price for a single family home increased from $180,000 in 1999 to $420,000 in 2006, but dropped slightly to $411,000 in 2007. A single family home is still a good investment.

Average Days on the Market for Single Family Homes in Northern Arizona

The average days on market for single family homes increased to 117 in 2007, up from 75 days in 2006.

Number of Single Family Homes Sold by Year in Northern Arizona

The number of single family homes sold in 2007 was about 900, down almost 150 from 2006. Buyers have access to a larger inventory of properties than they had in 2005 and 2006.
